A digest is not a dashboard

JUL 2, 2026 · BY THE TURBINE TEAM

The support queue is a stream; the team reads it as weather. What operators actually need each morning is climate: what themes, what volume, what severity, what changed.

Turbine clusters yesterday’s tickets overnight — semantically, not by tag, because customers do not tag their frustration — and ranks the themes by volume times severity.

Five themes with counts beats forty-three tickets with feelings.

The digest is one calm paragraph plus five ranked lines, posted where the team already reads. No login, no chart, no export. If checkout errors led with fourteen tickets and rising, that is the first line you see with your coffee.

The counts link back to the tickets, and the digest notes what it is not sure about — a theme with low cluster confidence says so out loud.

Dashboards are for questions. Digests are for mornings.
